Shipping information for Lobster Gram Gift Packages
Shipping Methods for Sending a Gift Certificate
(Please note: When ordering a certificate for a specific Lobster Gram package, pre-payment
of the package shipping is made at the time of purchase. This allows the recipient
to redeem their certificate and not have to pay for shipping charges.)
The following options are how the certificate itself will be sent.
1st Class Mail – There is no charge! Gift certificate orders are
processed and mailed within 1 – 2 business days once the order is received. We send
your gift certificates via 1st Class mail from our National Customer Service Headquarters
in Chicago, Illinois. The Post Office asks that you allow 7-10 business days for
delivery, although it may not take that long. If you need guaranteed, faster service,
you might consider choosing an air letter option.
Air Letters:
All Air Letters are sent via FedEx. A Driver Release is put on all air letters so
that they may be left at the door. If delivering to a multi-unit building, the driver
may require someone be present to receive the letter in person. No PO Box addresses
allowed.
STD Overnight Letter $11.60 – is a FedEx Standard Overnight Air Letter
that arrives between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm the next business day after being shipped.
(FedEx does not guarantee delivery times during major holiday seasons or for delays
due to weather.) See Priority Letter if you need next-day service to a remote area.
Priority Letter $13.92 – is a FedEx Priority Overnight Air Letter
that arrives between 8:00 am and 12:00 pm to city and suburban areas, or by 4:30
pm to more remote areas – the next business day after being shipped. (FedEx does
not guarantee delivery times during major holiday seasons or for delays due to weather.)
If sending to a remote area for next-day service, you must select this option.
2-Day Letter $9.28 – is a FedEx 2-Day FedEx Letter that arrives by
7 pm or earlier the second business day after being shipped.
3-Day Letter $6.96 – is a FedEx 3-Day Express Saver Letter that arrives
by 7 pm or earlier the third business day after being shipped.
Saturday Letter $23.20 – is a FedEx Saturday Air Letter that arrives
between 8:00 and 1:30 pm on Saturdays. (FedEx does not guarantee delivery times
during major holiday seasons or for delays due to weather.) Remote areas are not
available for Saturday delivery, please call us to confirm availability to your
area.
TAX: Add 2% sales tax on the product total (not including shipping),
to any order being delivered into the state of Illinois.

NOTE FOR FROZEN MAINE LOBSTER TAIL & MAINE LOBSTER CLAW ORDERS ONLY (The
following does not apply to LIVE Maine Lobster orders): Lobster Gram abides by the
national and local laws that apply to our industry. Due to restrictions set forth
by the Massachusetts Dept. Of Fisheries & Wildlife, and the New Hampshire Dept.
Of Natural Resources, we are unable to ship Maine lobster tails and Maine Lobster
Claws to Massachusetts and New Hampshire. If you would like to send lobster tails
to a recipient in either of these two states, please choose from another of our
tail varieties. If a package substitution is required due to this restriction, please
call us, and one of our lobster consultants will assist you.
Order early to place a Christmas Holiday, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day or Father’s
Day order. We reserve the right to make substitutions of equal or greater value,
if items become unavailable.
We deliver Lobster Gram gift packages only in the United States, however gift certificates
may be mailed to other countries (as long as they are redeemed in the US).
Orders shipping to Alaska and Hawaii vary in availability. Please call us first
to make sure it is a deliverable location. Due to the extra length of time to deliver,
we do not send live lobsters to Alaska and Hawaii, but lobster tails or other frozen
packages are available.
Please make sure the addresses you provide us are correct. We reserve the right
to charge a $10 Address Correction fee to anyone that provides us with an incorrect
address.

accuracy of all information, we reserve the right to make corrections if an error
does occur.
Shipping Methods for Sending a Lobster Gram Food Package
SPECIAL NOTE: Any order changes must be received at least 3 business days prior
to delivery. We are unable to honor any notifications received after that time.
All food packages are shipped via FedEx. A Driver Release is put on all packages
so that they may be left at the door. If delivering to a multi-unit building, the
driver may require someone be present to receive the package in person, so please
plan accordingly. No PO Box addresses allowed.
Standard Delivery* – is not available for live lobster packages,
only frozen. Shipping takes 1-2 days and deliveries are by 8:00 pm to
residences and by 5:00 pm to businesses. Frozen packages should be scheduled to
arrive one day prior to preparation to allow thawing time.
Expedited Overnight** – is the method required for all LIVE MAINE
LOBSTER packages. FedEx delivers packages by 4:30 pm the next business
day after being shipped.
Priority Overnight – is the method required for all LIVE MAINE
LOBSTER packages shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, or other remote areas.
FedEx delivers Priority Overnight packages by 12:00 pm to city and suburban areas,
and 4:30 pm or earlier to remote areas the next business day after being shipped.
Live lobster delivery is not available to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico; however,
we can ship lobster tails and other frozen items. Please call for more information.
Saturday Delivery – is available to most city and suburban areas.
Deliveries arrive between 8:00 am and 1:30 pm. Please call to confirm if you are
unsure whether your location is serviced.
Ground Delivery – is included in select items and arrives 1-7 days
after being shipped. Arrival days are Monday - Saturday.
Sunday and Monday Deliveries – are not available for perishable
packages.

If you are unsure of your recipient’s plans, we recommend sending a gift certificate.
Any other Lobster Gram gift package is always best when consumed as soon as possible
after delivery.
We are unable to deliver food packages to PO boxes, FPO’s or APO’s; however gift
certificates can be sent via US First Class Mail. We deliver Lobster Gram gift packages
only in the United States, however gift certificates may be mailed to other countries
(as long as they are redeemed in the US).
Major holidays and weather conditions may change delivery availability. Call early
to place a Christmas Week, New Year’s Eve, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day or Father’s
Day order. We may occasionally find it necessary to upgrade your method of shipping
at no extra charge to you, during poor weather conditions or busy holiday seasons.
This free upgrade does not change the value of the shipping paid on the order and
has no cash or credit value. We reserve the right to make product substitutions
of equal or greater value, if items become unavailable.
Orders shipping to Alaska and Hawaii vary in availability. Please call us first

Gift Certificate Redemption Shipping Instructions
Gift Grams and Create-a-Gram Gift Certificates have the base delivery already paid.
The base delivery for packages containing live Maine lobsters is Expedited Overnight**.
The base delivery for frozen packages (not containing live Maine lobsters) is Standard
Delivery*. Please choose the appropriate delivery to avoid incurring any additional
shipping charges. If you wish to upgrade your delivery, you may charge the difference
to a credit card. Prices subject to change without notice. While we make every effort
